I love that above image, created by Gabe Koerner, who you may remember as being one of the central figures of the Star Trek fan doc TREKKIES. It's a beautiful image, something that would be impressive to see on the big screen.
So, I love it and I hate it. I've been getting it emailed to me for what seems like years. Because it is so well done, everybody thinks it's from JJ Abrams' movie. It is not... and it's possible Abrams' final version won't be as nice as Gabe's work, but it's not from the flick.
